  • One thing I forgot to mention in our discussion of Slovenia is potica–a delicious rolled pastry filled with chocolate or nuts or poppy seeds or what have you. No doubt the Croats and Serbs will try to claim this too, perhaps even the Bosniaks. But no matter what slightly different Slavic language you speak, it’s delicious.
