Boundless bounding African fauna.  You say duiker, I say dik-dik.  Papa Hemingway vs. Jesus Christ.  African contributions to alpine sport.  Francis: Another Man Called Horse.  Suicide by popgun.  Military Patrol for Glory!  The demise of wool.  The glory years of Garmisch-Partenkirschen.  Enterprising Finns.

Francis, I am afraid Mark was right (again); cross country, at least sprint, it is a sport where one does come very close to death. Still fresh adventure of our first cross country Vancouver medal, owner: Petra Majdic, is a shear proof. She grandiosly fell(worth checking it on youtube) in an ominous 3m deep stone ditch on today’s training, injured herself badly, couldn’t even walk, but somehow hunchbacked hobbled to the finals and half dead won the bronze. According to our reporter a story worth of a Hollywood movie, directed by Hitchcock if possible. I, thanks to you guys strongly suspect she had (at least) a coffee with Shaun this morning.
Biathlon: do not wish to be skimed by this popgun, and: a member of our first (independent) Slovenian Olympic relay team in Albertville 1992, managed successfully to hit the target, a neighbouring, of course American one though (that’s how friendly orientated we are to your nation)
Garmisch-Partenkirchen, not -kirschen: kirchen=churches, kirschen=cherries, but I prefer cherries too, so it is a good and mouth-watering tasteful mistake…
It takes an Olympic medal of my national team that I do place a comment, so luckily you can expect another one only in 4 years. Make sure that the comment section has enough room for your overseas eloquent interlocutor then.
p.s. F, I am sympathetic with your tortured nipples, apply plantain leaf’s sap on!
p.s. Congratulations on your chiks downhill medals !!!!
