Phirman broadcast center? As in Mark Phirman? As in Hard ‘n Phirm? As in Chris Hardwick + Mark Phirman? Is it possible that two of my favorite podcasts are somehow connected to one another?

Maybe Francis can answer this one. I just sign the contract and cash the check.

No connection, sadly. It’s spelled “Furman.” As for why, well, that’s our little secret. I guess we should check out Hard ‘n’ Phirm…

The irony as well as the hunt continues and will unlikely ever stop. Furman is an old Slovene word for a (ragged) driver of a horse wagon. “You swear as an old Furman” is a sentence I regularly hear from my dear and beloved mother.
Did it ever occur to you that ugly (I wouldn t call them ugly, more really depressive) uniforms are just a part of our team s tactics? That by wearing SMB (greenish army like colors) they will make the players of the opposite team sleepy, bored and distracted. Before you ll know it Slovenes will unnoticeably find themselves on the other side of the field scoring a goal or two, if they will have their day maybe even three. Then there s going to be some scratching of the heads/hair again (finally we can find some good reason for the fact that amazing mr.Zidane is no longer the part of the World cup bunch). The dresses are practical as well: after winning the games, I am sure the players will want to grab a bite (surely chevapchichi with mustard!), so the stains won t look so coincidental, but rather a part of well premeditated and very sophisticated design. (since they will surely wash their pants by hands - remember slovene beehive motifs, they won t wash them after each and every game, so…)
“Not for nothing”, being molested by so many Slovene facts you guys should know by now that Charlie Brown s mustard squiggle - it actually represents Triglav, the highest (tri glavo = three headed) Slovenian mountain.

    See you on the field!

Wait. Furman is Slovenian? I thought they only had like two hundred people in that country. Of course renaming our studio after a cursing horse is even better than our sister city being named after a jar used to make fermented mare’s milk liquor. (Stay tuned…)

Big Congrats on a draw !!!!

I am starting to worry that only dull looking uniforms won t do it… The only quick solution I see now is bribing Flying Tomato to spend some time with US team before June 18th, at least to have some beers with Tim Howard. I hope he still got it!

Being really inexperienced in bribing, I ll address to FIFI s functionaries to give me some good advice on that. They look skillful. And kind.

Wait, did I say FIFI? I meant FIFA!

We already tried one flying tomato on our national team. His name was Alexi Lalas.

Very attractive indeed, but does he have the same capacity as you guys ascribed to Shawn - that all (sports)men, spending a minute or two with him end up handicapped, at least “brokenleged”, incapable of competing, sometimes almost breathing?
No? Then it will just have to be Shaun…

On Sunday, 4th of July in Postojna, Slovenija will be held FURMANSKI PRAZNIK (FURMAN S HOLIDAY).

Priorities should be considered, so regardless your own national holiday, we expect members of Furman studio team to be there.

    When Furmans go wild….
